Dear Parents and Carers,

Seeking and understanding the views of our parents and carers is vitally important to us.  Whilst we have many ways for home and school to communicate, the opportunity  to meet face to face informally to hear and discuss the views and opinions of our parents and carers supports leaders to continue to improve the educational experience of all of our students.

The aim of our Parent Forum is to enable the school leadership team to consult with a representation of the parent body on issues pertinent to our school and gather valuable feedback from parents and carers that can support achieving our vision and goals.

All parents and carers are automatically members of the group and welcomed to all or some of our meetings.  Parent Forum is chaired by the Acting Headteacher, Polly Matthews, and attended by other senior leaders of the school.

Normally, our meetings are held in a non-school environment, but due to the current Covid-19 situation, meetings will be held virtually through Microsoft Teams for the time being.  Reminders for each meeting will be sent through our weekly Parent Bulletin and parents will be told how to contact the school so that a Teams invitation can be sent to them.

If you have any items that you would like to discuss at the next meeting (dates are on our school calendar) please email your suggestions to Mrs Linda Chard (Head’s PA).  She can be contacted on [email protected]

At the Forum we discuss whole school issues and do not raise queries about individual students / incidents.  If parents and carers want to discuss their child particularly, please contact the relevant person at the school directly who will be happy to help.
