Year 11 Exam Results 2017

Congratulations to our Class of 2017 who have achieved a great set of GCSE results.

Thursdays results day brought tears of joy as students opened their result envelope  with their parents and teachers.  An impressive 33% of students attained the highest grades of A*/A or equivalent in their subjects.

Particular mention goes to Elise Parkinson, Sam Colman, Dana Liepina and Chris Coupe who made the most progress in their time at Court Fields exceeding many of their targets. John Gilding, Aaron Filler, Bethany Griffin and Bronwyn Cheshire attained the highest grades sweeping an incredible 35 A*/A between them.

We are absolutely delighted for our students who worked incredibly hard with their teachers to achieve their individual best grades.  It was wonderful to see so many excited students now knowing that they can go to College with confidence having achieved the grades that they need to be successful in Further Education.

I would like to thank our amazing staff and parents who have supported our students  throughout their time at Court Fields and guided them so well through some significant educational changes.  The Class of 2017 are the first cohort of students who have tackled the new Maths and English GCSE were they received Grades of 9-1.  All other subjects are still on the old system of Grades A* – G.

We wish all of our students every success in the future and look forward to catching up with them in November at our Presentation Evening where they receive their GCSE certificates.
